The College has provided adequate infrastructural facilities like spacious well-equipped well ventilated classrooms, a Computer Centre, a Central Library, 2 Gymnasia, 2 Playgrounds, Indoor games facilities, Audio-Visual facilities and a huge Auditorium…..
It must be noted that the Library is well kept and has a substantial collection of both text books and reference books for the students….

Pompei College of Arts and Commerce, within a short period of its existence, has developed into a very significant Institution. It indeed fulfils the educational needs of the rural youth with heterogeneous social background… Thanks to the vision of Rev. Fr. Bernard L D' Souza who has taken the Higher Education almost to the doorsteps of the rural poor. A few distinctive features of this Institution are, ecologically a beautiful ambience with two sprawling playgrounds, two Gymnasia for boys and girls separately. The College has Providence Hall –an auditorium that accommodates 500 people used for cultural events and conferences. The College has a calm and serene atmosphere with two silent prayer sessions in the morning and in the afternoon- a practice which is well appreciated….
The College has applied for autonomy , if granted, would become an Institution with a difference in this area"
The NAAC Peer Team appreciated the maintenance of excellent discipline among the students.
The college conducts Terminal Exams and progress records are sent to parents for their perusal. Internal Rank Lists of students are published and advanced learners encouraged by granting them scholarships of Rs 1000 each.
Achievements reviewed :
1. The college building has been renovated and re-painted
2. The Offices and Departments have been well-furnished.
3. Pompei Computer Centre, under the patronage of MICE, has been started and 90 students have completing their First Year Certificate Course.
4. Clean and bacteria-free drinking water has been provided by installing Water Cooler with filter as well as aquaguard.
5. Coin phone facility has been provided in side the college campus.
6. Inter-departmental Inter-com has been installed.
7. The stage of the Providence Hall, our indoor auditorium, has been well-furnished.
8. An open-air stage has been constructed at the back of the college.
9. A Museum with a Herbarium has been started.
10. The Library has been computerised and card index converted into Catalogue Index. 10,946 books, 42 Journals/ periodicals and 7 daily newspapers are currently available in the Library.
11. The PTA and Alumni Associations have been revitalized.
As the college marches towards the Silver Jubilee, generous cooperation of all and sundry is solicited, specially from the Alumni of the college who are spread across the world. We intend to establish a database of all the alumni of the college.
